| ABOUT MY WORK | |||
As you can see from my work, I don't take your run-of-the-mill photographs - especially when it comes to cars and urban exploration. Many have said that after looking at my work they look at things differently. I've also found that many become quite addicted to urban photography and spend countless hours looking at photos from one of my favorite sites (opacity.us). Some of the locations for my urban photography: Medfield State Hospital (where they filmed parts of Shutter Island), Walter E. Fernald Developmental Center, Iron Horse Park, and Gaebler Children's Center. Each location has a it's own feel and odd noises that are part of the territory when exploring these places. Of course, it's all in what you believe. All of my photos have a reason or story behind them, especially the urban ones, and that's what makes the subjects so much fun to photograph. |

| ABOUT ME | |||
|
My business began in 1988 when I started working on illustrated cartoon style signage for a local supermarket chain. I created various signage for employee lunchrooms as well as in-aisle displays and promotions. I became interested in photography a few years ago and it only made sense that I combine it with my love of cars. I've been a car lover ever since I was a little girl and have always been impressed by the classics because of their style and attention to detail. These cars are truly works of art and not just a means of transportation. You probably won't see full shots of cars in my collection, mostly because I prefer to photograph certain aspects of a car that catch my eye. You don't see too many photographs that feature a side view, a hub cap or perhaps an old push button radio, so I take pride in the fact that I'm offering something a little different. Urban Exploration is another area of interest I have. Like the classic cars, old buildings have a sense of style and detail that you just don't see anymore. Plus, many of the old buildings hold so much history - both good and bad - that make them fun to photograph!
